Enjoy this family friendly and safe home in this perfectly located home in the beautiful town of Carnelian Bay in Lake Tahoe. Located in one of Carnelian Bay’s most sought-after neighborhood, less than ½ mile to the lake and within minutes to Alpine Meadows (Pacific Palisades aka Squaw Valley), Northstar, Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak.
Large property for sledding and snowball fights. A short walk to the Tahoe Cross Country trail network offering beautiful trails for snow shoeing, back country and cross-country skiing.
The main floor's living and kitchen area has a gorgeous gas fireplace to warm up while sitting on new leather sofas. The Mountain home is charmed with lodge-like wood beam ceilings and new hardwood floors. There is a remodeled well equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. Enjoy the deck both in the front and back of the home.
On the main floor, you'll have a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the second with a queen and two twin beds. There is a crib available for your littlest one.
This home is perfect for every season, as it is situated in a quiet neighborhood with multiple public beaches nearby in addition to five popular California ski resorts from which to choose.

While the kids (and a few grown-up kids) have a snow day on the property's yard, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (11 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley (12 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Old Post Office Coffee Shop or a hearty meal at Gar Woods Grill and Pier. For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City (less than 5 miles) or travel 7 miles north to Crystal Bay in Nevada for cocktails and games of chance.
Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Parking is available for 3 cars total. One in garage and 2 in the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 4 adults
