The inviting home features all the Tahoe musts - gas fireplace in living room and master, front and side decks, pool table, proximity to beaches, trails, and close access to prime mountain resorts.

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Carnelian Bay, there are three close popular California ski resorts to choose from and you are also near pleasant trails less than ¼ mile from the home for hiking and mountain biking in and around Watson Creek and Tahoe Cross Country Ski Trails. In fact, you will find trails from here to Tahoe City and the town of Carnelian Bay. You are only a few minutes by car from both Tahoe City and Lakefront cafes. Near you will find several beautiful beaches including one to which you can walk if you don’t mind an uphill walk home!

The main floor's living and kitchen area, where you will gather while indoors, has an open floor plan with all the upgraded amenities in the kitchen. In addition to the gorgeous gas fireplace to warm up beside, you have beautiful furnishings and decorations throughout. The south facing deck will be a pure joy with a morning cup of coffee or good book. There is enough seating at the dining table to accommodate 8 people for nice family meals, with three supermarkets available within 5 miles; you can stock up on your way in for you may never want to leave!

Eight people (two families or a group of friends) will have lots of space to sleep here. On the main floor, you'll have the master bedroom with a jetted bathtub and separate shower. The lower floor features two bedroom with queen beds, and a bunk room with a twin over a double bed, as well as a hall bathroom with a tub shower combo.

Location:
While the kids (and a few grown-up kids) have a snow day on the property's yard, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (15 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley (12.5 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Old Post Office Coffee Shop or a hearty meal at Gar Woods Grill and Pier. For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City (less than 5 miles) or travel 7 miles north to Crystal Bay in Nevada for cocktails and games of chance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Parking is available for 3 cars total. One in the garage, and two in the driveway. No street parking, per county ordinance.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.

What a fabulous house with a great kitchen for those who love to cook. Open floor plan kept everyone engaged, the furnishings were very comfortable and the primary suite huge with king sized bed, walk in closet, fireplace and soaking tub. Downstairs bedrooms were also nice sized plus has a pool table. House is in great condition and well located to get to Incline Village and Tahoe City. Quick drive to Garwoods for a lunch on the deck was one of our many highlights this fall. Had fabulous weather, fall colors and even got treated mid week by some snow and a full moon which we could see perfectly from the front deck. Can't wait to come back!!!

We were a party of 7 spending a week in Tahoe during August. This was the perfect home for us. Very spacious and comfortable. The house is in a great location to the lake and both Tahoe City and Kings Beach. The kitchen is modern and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
