Carnelian Bay
Carnelian Bay is a wooded area that sits in the heart of the North Shore between Tahoe City and Kings Beach and is a popular area for boating enthusiasts. It offers plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as a dog friendly beach, picinic areas and a few restaurants. Carnelian Bay is home to the Sierra Boat Company Marina and Waterman's Landing Water Beach Cafe and Water Rentals. Restaurants in Carnelian Bay include Garwoods, CB's Pizza, Waterman's Landing Cafe, and the Old Post Office. There is a post office is located at 5075 N. Lake Blvd in the same shopping center as the 7-11 market. For all other services you will want to view Tahoe City Services.
Cedar Flat
Cedar Flat is a quiet and private neighborhood nestled between Dollar Point and Carnelian Bay. It is only a five minutes from Tahoe City and offers great access to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country ski and snow shoe trails. Cedar Flat has no services so you will want to view Carnelian Bay and Tahoe City Services.
