Broken Arrow Sky Race at Squaw Valley

The Broken Arrow, presented by Salomon, is part of the Altra US Skyrunner Series.

The three-day event, held at the world-famous Squaw Valley, consists of three iconic distances. Each distance showcases the beauty of Lake Tahoe, the "Jewel of the Sierra Nevada." The Broken Arrow represents a unique style of European-inspired mountain running characterized by off-trail scrambling, steep terrain, and massive amounts of vertical gain and loss. The majority of this takes place above 6,000 feet and above treeline.

Elite and recreational participants will experience an unforgettable trail experience "where the mountains meet the sky." The Broken Arrow Skyrace features races including a 46K, 23K, Vertical K, Iron Face, Triple Crown, Iron Crown, and Kids Race.

Runners will be treated to spectacular views of Lake Tahoe's emerald-blue waters and Squaw Valley's unmistakable high-alpine terrain.

Participants will celebrate together with first-class food, craft beer, music, films and fun activities for the whole family.
