Kings Beach is an up and coming area that truly feels like a beach town that is connected to Tahoe Vista. It's downtown area is nestled right next to the sandy beaches of the Kings Beach State Recreation Area and is home to several restaurants and shops. Throughout the year, Kings Beach offers a wide variety of events including free concerts on the beach, SUP races, farmers markets, snowfest and more.
Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista Services
Safeway is the only grocery store in the Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista area, and also has a pharmacy. In the center of town you will find a Riteaid that also has a pharmacy. The Kings Beach post office is located at 8633 Salmon Ave and the Tahoe Vista Post Office is located at 7005 N. Lake Blvd.
Kings beach offers two banking institutions: Plumas Bank (8475 North Lake Blvd) and Bank of the West (200 Bear St).
