ICE GARDEN & MINI TRAIN RIDES

Train rides in the Tahoe-Truckee area are a tribute to our region's history and the influence of the railroad that made life and industry in the Sierra possible. Over the years, the Truckee-Donner Rail Society has brought mini-rail holiday rides to the Ice Garden at Palisades Tahoe, and the area's railroad heritage is celebrated each winter through local events and exhibits.

• Mini-train rides and holiday events change from year to year, so please check current schedules before you plan around them
• Past rides have been complimentary and open to guests of all ages
• Special guest appearances, like Santa, have happened at holiday events
• Outdoor activities depend on weather conditions

For this season's event dates and times, visit Palisades Tahoe's events calendar or the Truckee-Donner Rail Society.
