You won't want to miss visiting the Ed Z'berg - Sugar Pine Point State Park, as it contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Sugar Pine Point State park can be enjoyed year round, where you can enjoy several miles of hiking trails, sandy beaches, a creek for fishing, a nature center, groomed cross-country skiing trails, and the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion (Pine Lodge).
