Location: Homewood is located on the Heart of the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.

Parking: 2 total- Carport (1 vehicle) in carport and tandem parking behind. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults

Fabulous Accommodations

We stayed at the Sierra Sunrise Lakefront Cabin in Homewood for 3 nights during the Blizzard of 2024. Not the best time to visit for sure, but our time spent was fabulous. The 3 bedroom cabin is beautifully designed and well appointed. It met all of our needs. Everyone agreed the beds were the most comfortable we'd ever slept in away from home. The gas fireplace set a cozy gathering spot with large windows overlooking Lake Tahoe with matching sofas, pillows and throws. The kitchen had everything we needed. The coffee pot uses #4 conical filters, and fortunately someone had left some for us. Plenty of windows and controllable lighting to set every mood. During our stay the challenge of the blizzard was met by the very available and helpful team of Tahoe Rental Company who bent over backwards to make sure we stayed safe and comfortable. Big shouts out to Cindy, Nicole, Jennifer and Andrew. They were all so nice and helpful. What could have been a challenge turned out to be a wonderful time in fabulous accommodations. Thanks you all so much.

Property was very nice and in a great location. Gorgeous view of the lake and mountain ranges. Property showing some aging signs and there were several light bulbs that need changing. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others!!!

Place is very nice, but had a few issues, Main TV connection had problems, I called but they said no one could come out to fix. Parking is very tight, had to call other tenants to move cars so we could get in when we arrived. Cob webs in ceiling areas, place needs better cleaning.

One of the best getaways yet!! The location is only surpassed by the home itself. Plenty of room for the entire family, including the inlaws and a baby. The entire process from start to finish was top shelf. Not if, but when are we staying here again. 3 stars for cleanliness, not really anyones fault. Fires and dust made the place a bit dusty.. Because of the great views, I would have preferred that the windows were cleaned...

Thank you for the use of your lovely get-away. We enjoyed the peaceful location and easy access to hiking, food, and dining. The yard was a bit of a mess when we arrived, but it was cleaned up the next day; that is my only complaint:)
