Description

Enjoy the summer on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in this nostalgic Chamberlands home. The inviting home features all the Tahoe musts - wood fireplace in the living room, open floor plan in upper living room, dining room and kitchen. Updated decks, close to hiking trails and Chamberlands private beach.

The upper floor's living and kitchen area has an open floor plan with everything you need for cooking. This home is well kept with many original features of an old Tahoe cabin. Enjoy the large deck in the back with a morning coffee or good book. The kids and adults alike will love the lower floor ping pong room, designed for pure family fun.

Eight people (two families or a group of friends) will enjoy the home and location. On the main floor, you have all three bedrooms. Two with queen beds and the third bedroom has 3 twin beds and a twin trundle if needed. The lowest floor features the game room with a nice ping pong table. .

Location:
On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to grab a burger or Chambers Punch at the Chambers Landing Bar and Grill, or a sandwich and groceries at Tahoma Market and Grill. For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City (less than 5 miles).

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an usually hot spell.
* Parking is available for 3 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.

This cabin in chamberlands had everything we needed. It is very well maintained and thoughtful with all the details from kitchen supplies to extra blankets to beach bags and mats. Beds are very comfortable. Location was so close to beach. The teens in our group walked to the beach daily. We appreciate the old school retro feel and felt compelled to treat cabin like our own because of the care and thought the owners put into it. We gifted a lightning connector to hook up cell phone to use old stereo with Bose speakers in kitchen. Enjoy your time, we did! Photo is view from Chamberlands restaurant near the private beach that’s a 15 min walk away from cabin.

It was all about getting 4 tween age grandkids in a house. This house had a bedroom for the 1 granddaughter and a room with 3/4 beds for the boys. Plus the bottom floor room with the ping pong table allowed them to congregate away from us and not in front of a tv. The back deck was great for breakfast. Not being directly in town was a plus for us but when we went in early June, it was still a quick less than 25 min drive to food and activites in Tahoe City. Access to a private beach with actual sand was a plus - disappointed that the listing did not warn that the swimming pool didn't open until a week after we were there. The house has not been updated but it was very clean and had perfect furniture for a family. Oeverall, it was great. I would certainly rent again for future family visits.
