Tahoe City West Shore

You are here

Tahoe City's West Shore spans south on Hwy 89 from the wye in Tahoe City all the way down past Sunnyside. Neighborhoods include the Granlibakken area, Tahoe Park Homeowner's Association, the Sunnyside Area, and more. Homes on Tahoe City' West Shore usually have very easy access to the bike path that leads directly to downtown Tahoe City, down the Truckee River to Squaw Valley, or over to Sugar Pine Point State Park. With plenty of dining options to choose from, a full service market, and a variety of recreational activities, Tahoe City's West Shore is a great place for a vacation.

For coffee, breakfast/lunch, and deli needs you can go to The Dam Cafe at the wye, Tahoe House Bakery & Gourment right past Granlibakken Road, and the West Shore Market near Sunnyside. West Shore Market also carries a small supply of grocery items, and New Moon carries organic and natural foods. Restaurants include Bridgetender, Uncommon Kitchen (inside New Moon), Sunnyside Restaurant, and Fire Sign Cafe. For your shopping needs, you can find great gifts at Salvaged  the Tahoe House.
