One of the easiest hikes in Tahoe with spectacular panoramic views of the lake. Located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe between Tahoe City and Homewood. Eagle Rock is an eroded, dormant volcano. To access Eagle Rock, drive on Hwy 89 on the west shore and look for the giant volcanic rock formation on the west side of the road. Parking is available along Hwy 89.
