Description

This rustic luxury large home offers you plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your Tahoe vacation. Step into our large living room with plush leather sectional, heated floors, flat-screen TV, and stone-lined fireplace. This house comes with ping pong, fire pit, hot tub, grill, Roku TV, bikes, foosball, 2 refrigerators, a fully stocked kitchen, and a peek of the lake from the balcony. You’ll quickly find all of the space in the open and fully-equipped kitchen to be tastefully and efficiently used, with multiple sinks and uncrowded appliances ensuring there’s never a line to refresh your drink or grab a snack.

On this main entry-level, you’ll find the first of six bedrooms. The wood-trimmed Master Bedroom, with a California King bed, ceiling fan, and elevated ceilings welcomes you to take a respite, and the attached ensuite awaits to comfort you with a walk-in steam shower and separate soaking tub.

On the lower level of this home, you will find five more bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms host a queen size bed and ensuite bathrooms, another queen bedroom with a shared hallway bathroom, and a bunk room with twin over full-sized beds and a game area. The lower level also has a second living room and access to the beautiful backyard and hot tub.

The amazing amenities in the home feature a ping pong table, foosball table, and Nintendo. Or enjoy the use of our bicycles in the summer and take the bike path to Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, or to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.

* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 12 adults
* This is a non-smoking home.

Overall the house worked great for our vacation to Tahoe. It had plenty of space for the entire family. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, and then some. Probably the most stocked kitchen in any house I have ever stayed in. I liked the Tahoe City location.

We had a wonderful time at the Big Buck Lodge. Perfect for our large group of skiers, and very dog friendly as well. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

Our annual family reunion was well-placed by staying at the Big Buck Lodge. All six bedrooms and bathrooms were welcoming and functional. There was plenty of room inside and out to meet as a group or to get away from the hustle and bustle of a reunion. We really enjoyed the closeness to wonderful wooded hiking trails. And visiting in early October brought cool, pleasant weather and fewer traffic jams. Would consider Big Buck again

We stayed at Big Buck Lodge for a senior leadership retreat and the house was perfect for our group. House layout fit great for us and would be great for large family groups as well, only issue we had during our stay was the coffee maker did not work.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our group of 11 and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook. Great proximity to Northstar and Palisades. We didn't have power for part of our trip due to the storm, but the rental company was very accommodating with our checkout.

We were a group of nine in the Lk Tahoe area for a few days of mountain biking. This was our 4th epic trip and the hands down the nicest place we have stayed. This house is wonderfully appointed from top to bottom. We cooked some dinners in and the kitchen had everything one would need to create gourmet meals. The large layout was perfect for our group and we enjoyed cards on the deck, grilling our dinners, a quick soak in the hot tub and even had our own mini ping pong tournament. Can't say enough great things about this property. Hope to come back another time. Thank you to the management company for the ease of check in and out. Outstanding all around!

Fabulous stay at the BB lodge with a family reunion, very spacious, tons of bathrooms, extremely well stocked with beach towels, chairs, bikes, etc etc. Highly recommend.

We had a terrific time. There were three separate families staying and everyone stated that from when they walked in the house was nicer than expected from the pictures. All in all it was a great stay.

We had a terrific time. There were three separate families staying and everyone stated that from when they walked in the house was nicer than expected from the pictures. All in all it was a great stay.

Our extended family of 14 adults and children came together for the Christmas holiday and the home was perfect! The kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook for 14 and it was wonderful to all be able to sit at the large dining table. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. My only feedback is regarding the garbage. The prior guests garbage was left in the overflow cans and we did not realize this until after we put out our garbage and it was collected. Would have been nice to have that old trash put out by the turnover crew. That aside, everything was perfect. And the manager was readily available to answer questions regarding snow removal etc.
We are very pleased that your group thought highly of Big Buck Lodge in Tahoe City. This very large, luxurious family home has a wide variety of amenities that can entertain and help a family relax while they are on vacation. We are sorry that the cleaning crew missed the garbage can in the garage, and we will bring that up as a team to assure this doesn't happen again. The can inside the garage is for overflow trash, and the main trash cans are located in the bear box located on the side of the driveway. It was fantastic with 9 grandkids ages 15-7 months there was plenty of room and area so we all could relax enjoy dinner together
