Perfect Family home for your vacation. Home features several items for families with small children, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation with less worry. Enjoy the hot tub and fireplace any time of year! This beautiful three bedroom, two bath home has a very comfortable, open and bright living room with a wood stove and lake views.

There is a large living room and loft area for kids. This home is designed for a family with children and features items such as baby gates, dinner table seating high chairs, pack in play and an infant swing. Bunk beds have guard rails on a few of the bunks as well. The wood stove is equipped with a custom removable gate to keep the kids away from the fire if needed. The kitchen is just off the entry; it is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. There is a bar area that leads to a large dining room table. The large deck with lake views and BBQ is great for enjoying the outdoors. Also on the main floor are two bedrooms with queen beds in each room and they share the hallway bathroom with a bathtub shower combo. The upper floor hosts a loft area with views and a day bed and sitting area with TV. Another room with two twin size bunk beds and two queen size beds and bathroom with shower is off the loft area.

There is a room for two cars in the garage and plenty of space to keep your ski/snowboard equipment, sled, bikes, strollers and other outdoor toys. Enjoy the hot tub during any season!

Lodging includes Dollar Point Summer amenities with access to the private beach and pier, a large swimming pool, tennis courts and children's' play area. This family rental home is located just 2-miles from downtown Tahoe City for dining, shopping, and entertainment. During the winter months, you will also enjoy that this Dollar Point home is close to the North Shore Ski Areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Northstar and Homewood Mountains. The Tahoe Nordic Center is just up the street so you can enjoy an afternoon of cross-country skiing.

* Fee of $10/day/person to use pool, private beach, tennis and rec areas in Dollar Point after 6/24/2019.

LOCATION:
Our home is centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe just 2 miles North of Tahoe City in the Dollar Point community. It is only a few blocks from the Tahoe City paved trail system and the XC Nordic Center. It is less than 30 minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Northstar, and casinos. Only a few blocks from the beach, pier, pool, and tennis courts.

Everything we needed

This place was perfect for us. Two families (4 adults, 5 kids: ages 7 to 15) Kitchen is dated but perfectly functional. Everything worked as promised. (except the hot tub wasn't working) There was a book for guest to give ideas on things to do and places to eat. The community was a little tight about going to the pool and the beach area. They are requiring passes for each. (which they readily gave us when asked for them. But I think starting next year, or going forward, guest will have to pay each time they use those amenities.) Checking in and out was easy. The app the rental company sent was super easy to use and helpful.

We had a great time! The management company was very responsive. We had a problem with the heater and they fixed it quickly. The house was super clean and spacious. Our family had an amazing time there.

We have stayed in locations all around Lake Tahoe, but never Dollar Point. We loved it, it’s near Tahoe City but in great neighborhood, with private beach access and other great amenities! The home was very clean, only a few minor concerns that we expressed to the property manager. The home was equipped with a few necessities that made traveling with kids so much easier. A few examples are the baby gates on the stairs, toys, a high chair, and if you come in the winter, a gate around the fire place/stove. It was definitely more space than we needed for our small family, but we’d stay here again! Two things I would change is replacing one of the queen beds with a king bed and adding ceiling fans if possible to the bedrooms.

My grandkids were entertained by the toy drawers. Spacious floor plan, lake view, well equipped kitchen were great. Place is 70’s motif and dark. Open up the hot tub in back to make the place more attractive to renters!
