Description

Dollar Point Lake view Getaway is a multi level vintage home facing the lake. Enjoy beautiful filtered view of the lake and mountains. Great home for family and friends! Enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe while staying in a spacious, well-furnished four bedroom, two-bath home located on a quiet cul-de-sac.

In the living room area there are two couches and two cushioned chairs are centered in front of a gas-burning fireplace. You'll also find a music system and a 46' LCD HDTV with a DVR and cable. The front wall of the living room is all glass and leads to a large sunny deck, suited with picnic table and benches, chaise lounges, and deck chairs. We've equipped the kitchen with just about any appliance that you'd want. The dining room holds a long table with benches and chairs at each end. There is also a breakfast bar between the kitchen and the dining room.

* Located in Dollar Point 2 miles east of Tahoe City.
* Summer vacationers can also bike along the bike path into Tahoe City (only 2 miles) and along the Truckee River towards Squaw Valley or down the scenic West Shore.
* For adults, North Lake Tahoe's casinos are also about 15-20 minutes east of this fabulous all season vacation home.

PARKING:
Parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed. It may be put away for the winter and or for High Wind Red Flag warning days. Propane is not provided in winter months due to limited access.
* There is no air conditioning at this home. Our temperatures stay low in the evening in Lake Tahoe, and fans are available for use.

*Minimum Renter Age Requirement: 25 years
*Maximum Nighttime Occupancy: 10 adults
*Maximum Daytime Occupancy: 15 adults

*OCCUPANCY: Nighttime occupancy is defined as 2 people per bedroom, plus 2 additional people, excluding children under 12 years of age. Never to exceed 12 adults in larger homes. Nighttime occupancy limits begin at 9:00 PM. Daytime occupancy is defined as one and a half times the maximum number of occupants allowed to stay overnight at the unit, excluding children under 12.

Pros- good view, close to beach and trail<br/>Cons- paper towels were short, bedding was not clean. Short of hot water for bath. Bad temperature controller.

great view and location, home was tired and worn. air does not circulate very well. Beds are doubel not queen, dead bird on the desk that hadn't been swept in a while.

We loved our stay here. The high living room windows overlooking the lake are everything. The beds and sofas are a bit lumpy/saggy, and the furnishings are a bit outdated, but overall we greatly enjoyed our time here.

We loved this house(cabin) . The view from the living room was amazing. Apart from the amazing house. Our host was great, after a long day of travel and finally getting to the cabin, we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house but we called the leasing number and someone was there within 10mins( Thank you).

We had 9 people stay at this fully furnished chalet cabin. The pros: beds were fine, plenty of space, deck was Fabulous with umbrellas and plenty of chairs, table, and loungers with beautiful view, tahoe rental company were responsive , kitchen was functional, wifi was fast, fans in every room, great neighbors and neighborhood, HOA was the best, and cable tv. Cons: living room was hot even with the fans and windows open, inside the cabin Needed more cleaning such as dusting and vacuuming the corners where where was cob webs, dated bathrooms, and some Windows missing screens and no deck door screen. Overall , we would rent again but hoping for deck door screen for more<br/>Ventilation for the living room without the insects and bugs flying in.

Our experience with Tahoe Rental Company and the Lakeview Cabin were both great. Shauna made booking the place easy, and answered all my questions. Check-in was simple, and the cabin was right around the corner from the rental office. Inside it's a bit "vintage," but the styling gives it an authentic, cozy, mountain feel. It was big enough to sleep all 10 of us, and we even ate our Friendsgiving dinner together at the giant dining table. It's close to shops and skiing, and there's access to a beautiful beach if you're so inclined. PRO TIP: If you're like us and you enjoy sleeping in, make late check-out arrangements prior to arriving and enjoy the extra time in the morning. All together, I'd definitely book through Tahoe Rental Company again, and we might even have another Friendsgiving at the Lakeview Cabin in 2017.

We are sorry for inconvenience with the spiders. Thanks again for letting us know about them. We immediately had pest control come to the house after your departure to take care of the issue.
