Enjoy our log style home with your guests during any season of the year! Located in Tahoe City, you are minutes from downtown, beaches, and major ski resorts. Our hot tub is the perfect end to you day (or start). Bring your dog so they can enjoy Tahoe too!

This remodeled large 4 bedroom is set to exceed your expectations as a vacation renter. We are fully stocked with everything you need, and our upgrades will delight guests of all ages. The kitchen features a gourmet gas range and anything you need to prepare a wonderful meal as a group. Enjoy our real wood fireplace after a day enjoying the mountains in Tahoe and unwind with your friends or family. The home provides privacy for the group allowing for a bedroom suite above the garage set up in its own wing of the home. The rest of the home is spread out with comfort in mind.

Parking: There is enough parking for 4 cars. One small car can park in the garage. No street parking per county ordinance.

Location:
Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Cross country skiing is close by and rentals are available at Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
* Dog Friendly: Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults

This property was beautiful, well maintained and warm and welcoming. Having never been to Tahoe, especially in the winter I have never seen so much snow. This home was warm, welcoming a large of enough for my party of 6 and my dogs. Everything you need to feel at home when away from home.

My family, 3 couples, 2 toddlers, and a dog, had a wonderful stay here at the Sequoia Log cabin in December before Christmas. The kids and dog had a blast in the snow while we cozied up to the fire at night and relaxed in the hot tub. We all slept very comfortable and cooking for all of us was an ease with a very modern and clean kitchen. The bed were all very large and comfy and the Living Room allowed us all to watch Christmas movies while the boys played ping pong in the garage. Super close to both Palisades and Northstar for days of skiing. We cannot wait to have our family stay here again!

All was great. worked perfectly for a nieces wedding at Sunnyside. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around. Only issue was the 4pm check-in and 10am check out. totally absurd. feel like we lost a day with those hours.

We came for the weekend for a surprise 80th Birthday party. Six of us and our Golden Retriever and Black Lab stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The kitchen is great to cook in with top quality appliances. And the living room was a perfect gathering place. We had 3 couples and it was great to have 3 king beds and 3 separate bathrooms so each couple had their own.... The neighborhood is great to walk around in and we even saw a bear on our walk. This was a perfect place for our weekend get away.We did have a couple small issues and the property management company was super quick to respond...

The cabin was close to skiing, about 15 min., and close to downtown. Comfortable for family of 6. Nice kitchen.

We had the absolute best December vacation at this home with our family of four. Our two boys (3 and 8) just had the time of their live sleeping in the two bed room, and we were just across the hall - private but safe. The master bedroom suite above the garage was amazingly perfect for me too, as I used that as a remote work office when I needed to take a phone call or two from the office.The kitchen is incredibly well kept up with state of the art appliances. We enjoyed cooking as a family and then having our meal together: the open concept floor plan really enabled us to be together at all times.We hope to make this retreat an annual vacation for our family - possibly one where we invite extended family and/or close friends to come with us (as the private garage suite really enables this setup well!).

The cabin was a great rental property for our family. We loved we could walk to Sunnyside Restaurant and the Lake. The house was clean with absolutely everything you would need in the kitchen and the bedding was top quality. The fenced yard at the back of the house was perfect for our dogs. I would definitely book Sequoia Cabin again.

We loved the cabin. Enjoyed the large hot tub. Only negative is there was no coffee and no shampoo for the showed. Usually provided. But a minor issue and it was great getaway for us and our dog
