Description

Feel blissfully relaxed in our renovated home. Washoe Bliss boasts newer furniture and appliances as well as modern bathrooms and plush bedding. Downtown Tahoe City offers restaurants, shopping, and Lake Views! The newly complete remodel features a kitchen that is well stocked with any appliance you may need to create a home cooked meal while on vacation. The kitchen opens up to the dining area which provides plenty of room for the whole family at this beautiful table that seats 6.

The living room is home to two big, comfy couches and a flat screen TV. This forest home is sure to please you and your guests as you enjoy your stay in beautiful Lake Tahoe. The main floor features a bathroom with a shower/tub combination, kitchen, dining, living room and a full deck with table and Barbecue(BBQ is not guaranteed in Winter). The upper floor has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the other has a Double bed. The upstairs bathroom has a modern shower. Downstairs has 2 more bedrooms, large living space to spread out, and full bathroom.

Less than 2 miles from downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River (entrance 2 miles from house).

Take a quick 10 minute walk to the private beach at Tahoe Park, well equipped with BBQ grills, lawn areas, private beach, etc. Avoid the crowds of the public beaches with this exclusive access.

Sunnyside restaurant and lodge, with fine dining and lake front comfort food; West Shore market with great fresh brewed coffee, deli style cafe, market; Fire Sign Cafe for excellent brunch; bike and kayak rentals are all within a 10 minute walk from the home.

Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults
* This is a non-smoking home.

The house is great, more than enough space for our group (5 adults) and it was very clean. The property managers were very responsive and helpful with questions that we had. The road leading up to the house and entryway to the front door were plowed for our arrival despite the snow storm that had come in. We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed West Lake Tahoe! Nice change from other areas around the lake. Lots to see and do in and around Tahoe City. Nice bike paths in the Sunnyside and Tahoe City area. The HOA Park, right on the Lake is really nice and well maintained. Dined at several of the restaurants on the recommended list, all were great! Nice neighbors around the property, quiet too. Property could use some TLC from a handyman and a HVAC contractor. The lower floor had heat, elsewhere we used provided space heaters. The house was clean. All the necessities were there. Enjoyed our stay! Thank you Firefighters!!

Enough rooms to accommodate us all. BUT, Unfortunately Tahoe rental company would not let us cancel even though the fires were coming in quite close to our location. If we canceled we would’ve been out $3200. A week and a half later the area was evacuated. We didn’t get the scenic vacation we hoped for. I don’t think that was fair of the rental company cannot let us cancel due to fires close by.

This was our first stay in Tahoe. We were very happy that we chose to stay in this cabin. The location was perfect, particularly because of the easy access to the private beach and its general location of being in North Tahoe. The cabin itself was very clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We loved the layout - had plenty of room for everyone. The location was great - will never stay at another place that doesn't have access to a private beach. My only comment would be it would've been nice to have some extra toothbrushes, razors, etc. We will be back!

West Shore Cabin

Nicely remodeled cabin that is in a convenient location on West Shore. I would recommend this property in the summer time. Need 4WD in snow. No garage or fireplace and the steps down to the cabin can be dangerous in the winter. Heating system makes it very hot upstairs while the downstairs remains chilly. Steps weren't cleared of snow for us when we got there at night but the property management came the next day and apologized. I'd rent again but rather during the summer months.

House was nice and had a homey feel. Pictures online don't show how close the neighbors are and the little bit of construction going on in the neighborhood.

This Lake Tahoe vacation home was clean, easy to access, and located along an ideal part of the lake. Just south of Tahoe City, it provided a good base for exploring the East Shore of Lake Tahoe. The property management company was very responsive to our questions.

Had a great time staying at this little gem in Tahoe City, CA during ski season. Everything was very clean and nice and we had absolutely no complaints except that there was only one control for the heat downstairs where it remained frigid while the upstairs was excessively warm. We had to sleep with the windows open in 7 degree weather in a snow storm and turn the heat down to 60 to make it bearable. It was super nice that the home owner had a few basic cooking supplies like salt and pepper, cooking spray, coffee and some herbs available. Would recommend to a friend any day and hope that we get to return sometime soon!

We had to sleep with the windows open in 7 degree weather in a snow storm and turn the heat down to 60 to make it bearable. It was super nice that the home owner had a few basic cooking supplies like salt and pepper, cooking spray, coffee and some herbs available. Would recommend to a friend any day and hope that we get to return sometime soon!

Nice house! We appreciated that it was VERY Clean with comfortable furniture and beds! ... Liked the little electric fireplace. .. Could use a larger supply of towels in the bathrooms and a bedside table in the second bedroom, but these are minor issues. Enjoyed our stay!

This Lake Tahoe vacation home was clean, easy to access, and located along an ideal part of the lake. Just south of Tahoe City, it provided a good base for exploring the East Shore of Lake Tahoe. The property management company was very responsive to our questions.
