Take your next Lake Tahoe vacation to this beautiful home in Tahoe City. Located just minutes from the beach and a lot of fun amenities right at home.

This home is in a great location just minutes from town, beaches, hiking and biking trails, and many other outdoor activities. Take a fun bike ride on the bike path to the heart of Tahoe City to explore the fun shops, lovely sandy beaches and the great dining options it has to offer. After a day exploring you may want to keep the fun going, play some bocce ball or a game of pool at home. Or you may want to relax and take some time soaking in the hot tub. This is a great place for kids as well with a play set on the property and for your pets having a completely fenced in yard.

This home is a lovely place for a family get together with a very open floor plan allowing everyone to enjoy eachothers company. Step outside on the deck to take in the fresh Tahoe air while sipping on your morning cup of coffee, or a great outdoor dinner. Bring your family dog and let it roam in the fenced yard.

On the main level of this home you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with 2 bunk beds. On the upper level you will find the other 2 bedrooms, both with king beds along with the living and kitchen area. Overall this home can accommodate up to 10 adults and 2 children.

Location:
While some may want to stick around the house and have a fun day at the property, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (13 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley (10 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to head down and grab a breakfast at the Fire Sign Cafe, or head into Tahoe City for many other breakfast and dining options.

Parking: Parking is available for 4 cars total. All cars must park in the garage or on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
* Dog Friendly: Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults
*This is a non-smoking home.

Pleasant stay

It was a little bit of a rough start. Things were not cleaned, floors, beds looked like they had been slept in and made by the previous renter. The Bbq didn’t work, there was dog poop in the back yard which need some care as there are spider webs everywhere. And we could not figure out the fireplace even following instructions. The office was quick to help with some of these things. As far as the house. Great location, quiet and comfortable. Great to have the extras as we used the hot tub everyday and there were things to play with. Definitely would stay again. Tahoe rental just needs to do a sweep making sure everything is ready to go for guests.

We had a terrific time the Zen Mountain Retreat. It was a great fit for our family. The house was very spacious and very well equipped, particularly the fully equipped kitchen and grill and the great hot tub. The location is terrific with views of the Lake, lots of nice walks nearby, and easy access to all other North Tahoe locations. We definitely hope to return!

Property was perfect location and size for our group of 10. Travel time to Palisades was about 20 minutes. The property was plenty big so that our group didn't feel cramped

A great house, will definitely be back again. Perfect for summer too.The oven did not work, but that was a minor thing. Everything else was really nice.

Property is very well equipped, clean and well maintained, and a great location. We are 4 couples who have been renting in the area for many years, but out first time at this house. Fits all of our needs. Available garage is an excellent asset as is the roomy entrance area. We will return. Thanks to the owner's for sharing their house with us.
