Northstar Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holidays at the Northstar Tree Lighting Ceremony. Each December, families and friends gather around the Village Ice Rink at The Village at Northstar to watch the towering tree burst to life in a dazzling display of lights. Past celebrations have included s'mores, photos with Santa, ice skating, and live performances.

• Free to attend
• Bundle up, grab a hot drink, and enjoy the festive Village atmosphere
• The ice rink stays open, so you can skate before or after the lighting
• Village parking fills up quickly, so plan to take the resort shuttle
• Dates and schedule vary by year, so check the current details before you go

Find this season's date and schedule on the Northstar California events calendar, and browse our Lake Tahoe vacation rentals to find a cozy base close to the Village.
