To provide the equipment, opportunity, and proper instruction for lake enthusiasts to learn and love stand up paddle boarding and kayaking on beautiful Lake Tahoe.
About Us
North Tahoe Paddle is Lake Tahoe's premier stand up paddle board and kayak rental service, offering free delivery and pick up anywhere in North Lake Tahoe. Why drive around looking for a place to rent a paddle board or kayak when you could be heading to your favorite beach with us waiting with your rental ready for you when you arrive? Reserve a rental ahead of time, and we’ll drop it off at a location of your choosing. We'll happily deliver your rental to almost any private residence, hotel, resort, campground, beach, boat launch, or pier in North Lake Tahoe.
We rent only the highest quality paddle boards and sit-on-top kayaks on the market. All of our equipment is stable, user-friendly, and great for first timers and experienced paddlers alike. All rentals include paddle(s), PFD (Personal Flotation Device), instructions, safety tips, and recommendations for some of our favorite places to go paddling. We offer group, multi-day, and military discounts. If you’re in town with a group of friends or family or would like to rent a stand up paddle board or kayak for multiple days, we've got your covered. Rent from us and get out on the water where you want, when you want.
Where We Deliver Rentals
We deliver rentals (free of charge!) anywhere in the greater North Lake Tahoe area including the following towns: Incline Village, Crystal Bay, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Homewood, and Tahoma.
How It Works
Give us a call or head over to our Reservations page. Once you've submitted your reservation information, we'll contact you within 24 hours (typically much sooner) to finalize your reservation. The day of your rental, we'll deliver the stand up paddle boards or kayaks to your desired location and provide a brief instructional demonstration and some basic safety information. After that, the rental is all yours! You can take the stand up paddle boards or kayaks to any beach, boating, down the Truckee River, to a SUP yoga class, or you can even take them to a different lake if you'd like! At the end of your rental period, we'll come pick up your rental where we delivered it to (or at a different location, if necessary). It's that easy!
Cancellation Policy
We have a 14 day cancellation policy for rentals. This means that you may cancel a reservation with at least 14 days notice without penalty. Any cancellations with less than 14 days notice will be charged the full amount of the rental.
Weather cancellations are at the sole discretion of North Tahoe Paddle.
