Description

This four bedroom home is located just minutes from the private beach and close to several ski resorts

This home is in a very convenient location for all the fun you can have and any necessities you would need. There are many mountain bike trails, hiking or biking trails, and even cross-country skiing along with the HOA amenities including beach, bocce ball, basketball, and horseshoe pits. Just 2 miles away you will be in the heart of Tahoe City where you will find a lot of great dining options and fun shops to walk. Being in such a great location you also have 3 major ski resorts that have an abundance of summer and winter activities.

This is a 2 level home. On the main floor you have one bedroom with a queen bed. The kitchen and living area are very open allowing you to enjoy the company of all your guests. Off the living room is a large deck which is a nice feature for you to relax and take in the fresh tahoe air. Or on a cold day you may want to sit back and relax by the wood burning fireplace located in the living area as well. Head downstairs for the remaining bedrooms. Please note that the largest bedroom must be accessed by passing through the twin room.

Location:
While some may want to stick around the house and have a snow day at the property, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (17 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley (8 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to head down and grab a breakfast at the Fire Sign Cafe, or head into Tahoe City for many other breakfast and dining options.

Other things to Note:
* Parking is available for 2 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
* Dog Friendly: Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.
* Renters must be 25+
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults
* This is a non-smoking home.

What a great cabin. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked with anything and everything to easily cook and serve family dinner for 8 adult's. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. The hot tub was ready to use and single button to operate. The upstairs living area gets warm during the summer, there were plenty of portable fans supplied, but a good ceiling fan would solve the issue 100%. Big washer and dryer both in excellent condition. Access to the private beach was a real treat and was certainly a factor in rebooking this home. If you have to get work done or keep the kids entertained while the adults relax, the internet connection was strong and consistent and the TV had a host of apps ready to go (NetFlix, Prime, etc). Of course location, location, location and this house was in a perfect spot. Easy walk to Sunnyside, FireSign, the beach and a short drive to Tahoe City. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Such a lovely spot! I enjoyed the open floor plan with the living room/dining room/kitchen all connected so you can hang out while you cook. The upper floor area was cozy with high ceilings and beautiful light fixtures and the kitchen was fully stocked with every implement and took we needed. The deck looks out into the trees and offers a great view of the stars from the sparkling clean hot tub. Downstairs rooms had one connected suite type situation and one separate room. Ideal for families with kids.We were able to use the beach access which was wonderful and extremely convenient. Overall a perfect Tahoe experience, I can’t wait to come back in the winter!

This is a beautiful cabin, with stunning views and a ton of natural light. We went in the summertime, and enjoyed mornings and evenings in the hot tub on the deck, with trees and beautiful skies around us. The location is very close to town, but you still feel very private and personal. The place is bigger than it appears from the outside and has both common gathering areas and separate bedrooms. You definitely aren’t right on top of each other and the downstairs bedrooms have a nice feature where there is a larger adult bedroom at the end connected to a smaller kid bedroom so everyone can have their own space but still be near (there is also a 3rd bedroom downstairs that is separate from the other two, and an additional bedroom upstairs with its own on suite bathroom). The kitchen is fully stocked , has a dishwasher and even has a number of appliances (slow cooker!). My sister really enjoys cooking and spent a lot of time making meals at the kitchen island and large dining room table. I was too busy reading on the deck or the large comfy couch. The place is pretty enough to just spend the day in, but there is also a lot to do if you want to explore. We spent a morning at the lake, jumping off the dock and skipping pebbles. We could have walked but ended up driving so we could explore afterwards. Tahoe City was fun to walk around and explore, with a very cute thrift store, and a lot of cool restaurants and places to walk around and window shop . The people were friendly and personable. Evenings we spent eating together at the large table, watching movies on the big tv and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. There was a lot of games in a cabinet there that we were interested in, but we were so relaxed we never got to them. The beds were SO comfortable and the sheets and pillows of the highest quality. This part is really important for me, as I have a bad back, and a mattress can make or break my stay. It was so good however, that I actually snapped a picture of the brand of the mattress topper, because I liked it so much I might need one at my house. This place was the perfect peaceful getaway. Really restful and relaxing and restorative. I didn’t want to leave!

This cabin a good size for our group of 6 and was clean and well supplied. The master with a queen bed was upstairs with the rest of the rooms downstairs. In order to get to one of the queen rooms, you need to walk through the room with the twin and trundle, which was okay but not great.We reached out ahead of time to make sure the hot tub would be filled for our stay. It was filled but unfortunately it was not hot and was only at about 60 degrees when we checked in at 4pm and took until the next day to fully heat, which meant that we couldn't use a listed accommodation until the second day.Still, we would stay again but ask for the hot tub to be turned on earlier!

Four of us stayed here. I sometimes felt a little cramped for space in the kitchen, but there was ample living space otherwise. The location is close to highway 89 but not so close that we heard traffic there. But a street adjacent to the house had a bit of commute traffic in the mornings and evenings, sometimes people speeding up or down the hill. It’s not a perfect place to walk dogs so I usually took ours somewhere in the car. There’s no enclosed outdoor space on the ground but we made good use of the outdoor deck, which is a nice feature.

Nice and Clean home. Close to restaurants and stores. Private beach access for you to enjoy the lake view, and hot tubs for you to relax in the evening and watch night sky. If the TV is bigger, it will be perfect!

Excellent holiday weekend getaway in a magical Lake Tahoe location.

Check-in was a breeze. Communication with the rental company was easy. AMAZING location! Beach club on a holiday weekend was a great bonus. Super clean. I will definitely book here again. Hot tub was epic.
