Take your next Lake Tahoe vacation to the Pine Cone Cottage in Kings Beach. The inviting home features all the Tahoe musts - gas fireplace in living room with a 55 inch smart TV, large front deck, walking distance to Lake Tahoe with a large beach, close to trails, and 15 minutes to NorthStar at Tahoe.

This cozy cabin is centrally located in Kings Beach where vacation begins. The cabin is walking distance to Lake Tahoe, great trails less than ½ mile from the home for hiking and mountain biking, and downtown Kings Beach is 5 blocks away. Downtown Kings Beach has several restaurants, shopping, a large public beach, and mini golf in the summer!

The main floor's living room, dining room, and kitchen is where you will gather while indoors, In addition to the gas fireplace to warm up beside, you have cozy furnishings and decorations throughout. The kitchen is well equipped for your stay. There is enough seating in the dining room to easily accommodate 8 for nice family meals, and with the supermarket less than 1 mile away, you can stock up on your way in for you may never want to leave! The south facing deck will be a pure joy with a morning cup of coffee or good book. In the summer, you can relax on the hammock in the backyard.

Eight people (two families or a group of friends) will have lots of space to enjoy a vacation in this home. On the main floor there are 2 bedrooms: a queen bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed and additional twin. The main level also has 2 bathrooms with showers and laundry room. Upstairs you will find a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms with king beds in each,

Kings Beach offers a wide variety of activities for the whole group. Downtown Kings Beach has restaurants, shopping, and groceries. The very popular and large Kings Beach State Recreation Area has options for kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, parasailing, and more. In the winter months, NorthStar, Mt. Rose, Diamond Peak are all within close distance. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

Parking: Parking is available for 4 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults

We came up to spend the weekend with 6 adults, and this house was perfect. It was a little older, and there were a couple minor issues (ice maker didn't work in the fridge), but overall the house suited our needs.

The house had a rustic, log home, feel to it, which we liked, as opposed to the newer modern homes. It had everything that we needed for our stay. The location was great, in that it was Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, playground... There were two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, which made it good for us, as we had two families. In my opinion, the only downside that I saw, was that the Wi-Fi in the two downstairs bedrooms was spotty. But walking into the next room was all it took to get good service.
