River Walk Condo is walking distance to the Truckee River, River Ranch restaurant and bar, and across from Crest Cafe. It is just down the road from “5 lakes” hiking location and just minutes from Tahoe City, Squaw Valley and base of Alpine Meadows.

You can take the famous bike path along the Truckee river to either Squaw Valley or to Tahoe City. The paved trail is just out your front door. Or, grab your tube and float the Truckee River from Tahoe City to River Ranch, just steps from your condo!

This newly renovated condo has enough space for your entire group! Kitchen upgrades include granite tiled counters, solid oak flooring, and maple cabinetry. Vaulted ceiling in great room, stone hearth with pellet stove fireplace and double doors to large deck with mountain views.

Loft area is great for a quiet moment of reading or movie watching.

Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles (1 in garage, 2 in assigned parking spaces) All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults

Convenient location

This condo is conveniently located near the base of Alpine. It is easy to zip in and out of before and after a day of skiing. However, it is a very basic stay. The bathrooms are quite small and towels are tiny, the shower faucet is quirky. The kitchen is clean and well stocked; it could be improved with a thermometer on the oven and a new coffee pot (it is cracked). The first floor stays quite cold and we needed space heaters, but one of them was broken. We wanted to use the futon to sleep in the loft, but there were no extra sheets. The TV and fireplace remote controls did not work. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay mainly because of the convenient location, but just know that it is not a luxurious stay.

I recently stayed this nice condo near the Palisades resort, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The condo was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located, offering a cozy retreat after a day on the slopes.The cleanliness of the condo was impressive, with a noticeable attention to detail in maintaining a tidy and inviting space. The furnishings were comfortable, and the decor added a touch of warmth to the overall ambiance. It was evident that the property was well cared for, enhancing the overall enjoyment of our stay.One of the standout features of the condo was its proximity to the ski resort. The convenience of being so close to the slopes allowed for easy access, saving us precious time that could be spent enjoying the winter activities. This was especially appreciated during the colder days when a quick retreat to the condo for a break was just a short walk away.However, the one drawback during our stay was the unreliable wifi connection. Despite our expectations of seamless connectivity, the wifi was not working consistently throughout our visit. This presented some inconvenience, as we were unable to fully utilize our devices for planning activities or staying connected with loved ones. While I understand that technical issues can arise, a more reliable internet connection would have greatly enhanced the overall experience.In conclusion, this place provided a comfortable and convenient stay near the ski resort. Its cleanliness and well-maintained condition contributed to a positive overall impression. Despite the wifi issues, the proximity to the slopes and the overall charm of the condo made it a worthwhile choice for a ski getaway.

Had a wonderful time. The location was midway between Olympic Valley and the lake. Perfection. The place had everything we needed and more. I arrived late at night and my only wish is that the building numbers were better marked. I know we stayed in the right place but I never did see the building number, just the unit number.

Hello...our experience was good! No major complaints except that the trash cans outside were completely overflowing so we had to put some of the trash inside the garage in the garbage can.Side note...one of the guests left multiple shirts in the closet and we are trying to see if we can get them returned in some fashion.Respectfully,Micah

The Condo is cozy, clean, well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The location is great as you are a short car ride from Tahoe City, Truckee and very close to Squaw & Alpine Meadow's.The local rental service company was very customer service oriented and nice to work with.My family stayed at this location for the Thanksgiving Holiday and it met our needs. We spent most of our time at a friends house and or out & about around Lake Tahoe returning at night to get a good night sleep.
Thank you enjoying the condo as much as we do. We hope you had a great vacation and we look forward to hosting you again.
